The VUB aims to be a stimulating employer for all researchers. This is why we invest in a good HR policy, geared towards aspects such as well-being and personal development.
‘HR Excellence in Research’, what is it?
In 2011, we received the ‘HR Excellence in Research’ label from the European Commission; a certificate of quality awarded to (research) institutions that demonstrate, based on a thorough audit, that they have a strong HR policy in place.
With this label, we endorse both the European Charter for Researchers (a framework for supporting the careers of researchers) and the Code of Conduct (that describes open and transparent hiring processes).
