2 - Position Description
The Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel-Belgium (VUB) is looking for an experienced project manager to support a multipartner European research project in the life sciences area. You will work in a young, dynamic and stimulating work environment in research group Vitro Toxicology and Dermato-Cosmetology (IVTD) in the team of prof. Mathieu Vinken.
- You will assist the project coordinator on a daily basis.
- You will maintain daily communication with the project partners.
- You will manage all administrative and financial aspects of the project. o You will be responsible for reporting to the European Commission.
- You will organize project meetings and events.
For this function, our Health Campus in Jette will serve as your home base.
3 - Profile
What do we expect from you?
- You have at least a master's degree (life sciences)
- You have experience with projectmanagement
- You have experience with European Projectmanagement (Europese Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe programmes and administration) or you show a great willingness to learn and quickly master it;
- You are a dynamic and flexible person.
- You are able to work independently, yet as a team member.
- You are punctual and strictly meet deadlines.
- You have excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.
- You are fluent in English.
4 - Offer
Are you going to be our new colleague? You’ll be offered a temporary full-time contract at a salary linked to Grade 7, 8 or 9 (depending on your competences and previous relevant work experience).
